has anyone seen this Intercooler from tcarbon? why is it so cheap? is it due to poor quality or is it just becuase it isnt a major brad. just trying to get your thoughts Tcarbon FMIC

its a prototype right now so they are still working out all the bugs but i def gave it some thought...i will go with tcarbon or APR

They are fine tuning the piping for it, but don't expect the price to go up much. With APR/FORGE FMICs you are paying $$$ for the name. Tcarbon is putting together an alternative to those higher priced ones. I am waiting for them to complete the development on the 180 version.

thats a good sized IC, pretty cool. no pun intended.

I still think i'm going to build one from junkyard parts though, can probably do it for half that cost even.

thats awsome with the money you save from that Front mount you can use for this down pipe 42 draft designs[8D]

sweet i'll go with the test pipe version then i'll buy the catalytic converter for daily driving. damn this sucks i have the money right now to chip, front mount, and full exhaust, but i'm saving all my money to move out to AZ so the mods have to wait till i get out there this May.

oh yeah. the reason for going with apr is there extensive R&D on how the FMIC affects the radiator and engine cooling. The pressure drop is not as big as forge or even (maybe) tcarbon. the tcarbon is great for 500 bucks but i want the best and i'm thinkin APR has the R&D and data. maybe Tcarbon will have data and the R&D like APR here soon. that would be awesome
