Actually, I don't know how to get my shift **** off my 2004 TT. It doesn't screw off! Can anyone tell me how to get it off to replace it with an aftermarket unit?
They stopped installing the threaded type in 2003.

I suppose that would work. And perhaps attach the new shift **** with a glob of JB Weld?

No Problem, just don't have a welder laying around that I can just weld away at it.

Come on guys, there has to be a simpler way to get the shift **** off a 2003 and later TT!!! You can't tell me that everybody is happy with the stock shift ****
and just kept the cheap plastic Audi piece on there.
