in regards to inefficiency, to filter more, you need smaller passages for the air to travel thru. Smaller passages are more restrictive. Its flow, or filtering. You CAN'T have both.

I don't drive dirt roads, the worst the car sees now is a bit of pollen this spring. pollen burns, i'll call it a fuel additive.

The newer filter materials do offer better filtration and flow. If you're not interested in filtration why not run a velocity stack. They look cool, and offer better performance.

HKS is somewhat of a velocity stack. main selling point for me was size though.

size? meaning that its so small? the only benefit of that filter is the shape of it...ok it might flow ok but really....you rather have better flow than filtration? you got me there....

yeah, like 4 inches deep, instead of 9 inches. point was to make room for WMI.
