Hey Peeps:

I am new to the forum and to the Audi world for that matter. I just got my car last X-mas and found out that one of my front amber signal lights is not working. I mean when I signal it blinks and all. But when it isn't the light does not come on...should I go and change the light bulb, or is there anything else i can do?

 

this happened once, for approx 6 seconds with me. I slapped the headlight, and the amber turned back on, no problems since.

check for loose wires/harnesses, or just give it a slap and see what happens.

 

The problem metioned above wa probably a loose turn signal bulb socket. If i remember corectly, that is a different bulb than the parking light. The bulb probably has just gone by the wayside.
