Which snow tires & wheels for 01 TTR
I have an 01 TTR with 17" wheels on and Bridgestone Potenza's,
did a lot of sliding around this weekend. I live in NJ and packed
snow was a problem.
I want to put snow tires on and have heard that 16" is better than
17". I need opinions fromt those who know and perhaps have lived
it. Would be a real help to know where you got your wheels from as
I don't want to spend a lot on wheels for the winter. Size of both
the wheels and tires would be helpfull, as well as which tires you used.
Thanks in advance

RE: Which snow tires & wheels for 01 TTR
I work for an Audi dealer and we put on the 16" steel rims with 205/55/16 Pirrelli tires yes that is true the smaller the tire the better It will cut through the snow better instead of sitting on top of it and just sliding your only problem now is everyone has the same idea you have waiting till the last minute to get tires the manufactures stop making snow tires in December most people ushally buy them in November but this year is different I don't know why and now they come to me wanting tires but I have nothing left and niether do my suppliers so just a warning if you go shopping now don't get mad if you have to buy a set of Michelins for $250.00 each
