you doing it or having a shop do it? i;m very happy with my smoked tinted tails. changes the look of the car a lot....its one of the first things people noticed about my car...."dude you tint your tails?" lol

What do you mean you by "you will just get in trouble for them!"? Are they illegal or something, even if your break lights are clearly visible?

 

Ofcourse they are illegal.

 

but its still so much fun Overrated or not they look better tinted in most cases, but there is nothing wrong with stock.
I think of it as just another step in modding your car, i mean i would rather tint my lights then use those ugly circular cut-out covers that the sell at ttstuff.

If anyone has an unfair advantage it is the 350Z with an engine that is almost twice the size of your TT. If you want to make it fair I guess you can disable your turbo
but then make sure he disconnects 3 of his cylinders to match your displacement. The 350Z is a pretty potent car and off the line he will pull on you every time.
From a roll is where you have a decent chance as you have shown. I could have bought a 350Z or TT. I chose the TT for the overall fun factor and all wheel drive system.
Now when the GTR comes out I may resonsider Still have to win that lottery first

For me it always seems like I'll go about 3 weeks without seeing another TT and then I will see like 5 in a single day and I'm just like WTF! where did you come from? haha but I agree that there are about a billion 350Zs around Houston. Obviously because I hardly see other TTs it shows the superiority of my machine over that common 350Z haha obviously... Psh that's prestige baby

Why didn't you just remove the tails?

I think it's easier (and cleaner) than masking off the car.


Then again, It's just tinting tails, so it's not like prepping for surgery. I guess the method doesn't really matterthat much.
