solid caliper guides?
Front Brake issue:
So, I track my car. The past 2 events, I've been using Pagid orange pads in the front. I noticed after the 1st event that my pads were wearing unevenly. After the 2nd event, the pads are toast. The lead inside edge is wearing more than the trailing inside edge (angled wear). The opposite is happening on the outside (wheel side). The lead edge is wearing less than the trailing edge. (So, in essence, when you put the inside and outside pads together, they fit together perfectly.) Driver's side and passenger side are wearing exactly the same. Something's torquing, right?
My car buddies seem to think that it's the caliper guides. They say the stock ones are rubber and probably moving under threshold braking. They all have upgraded to solid caliper guides. (from bimmerworld)
My performance shop says that the rotors (EBC black dash slotted) are possibly the issue, but I can't understand how that could be the problem. They recommend replacing rotors with powerslot and getting new track pads (sticking w/ Pagid orange).
Well, what do you guys think? Anyone else running into this issue? I can't find solid caliper guides for the TT.

Hey Mike!
I did get your email. I've just been slammed at work. Next track day is Mid-Ohio on August 23, 24. It's the Buckeye BMW event.
Sounds like you got home OK.
I'm considering doing bushings on the car at some point. Would like your opinion on what to replace to get a firm feel on the car.
How's your ride?
