Actually mine is the 225 and the warranty is through the AUDI dealership for 2 years. Not an aftermarket warranty. Took me 2 and half months to find this deal.

Well, the one I am looking at is through GE. And not sure how I over looked this, but it says on my paper work that the water pump and TB are covered??!! I also called a couple mechanics and they said they can do it... Its seems a bit shady as is they were taking advantage of the warranty/system, like "Theres ways around that, don't worry". I didn't ask questions, I just thanked them and hung up. The deductible is 200 I believe. According to the dealer I'm buying the car from, I can take my car to any mechanic, including Audi dealers through this warranty.

I'm going to double check all of this, and give GE a call to confirm. But if this checks out, my concerns are gone. I certainly do not want to come another grand or 2 out of pocket in potentially days/weeks/months after buying this car.

Thanks for the heads up, guys...

yeah, a cool shop can hook you up with an aftermarket warranty. I got my rims for free because of my aftermarket warranty. I'm thinking about grinding the **** out of the trans to get a new one for free as well.

I just wanted to Thank everyone.... I had the dealer replace the wp and tb even though they had no noticeable wear, and kept the same price. the car is a bit slow, I can't wait for a ECU upgrade. Other than that, very fun car!
