Springs. do I need a camber kit ?
I have a 2003 TT Quattro 18in tires. If I go with just springs do I need a camber kit for the rear? And what about the front do I need any thing for that? I don't need to drop it on the ground just want to fill the gap up a little. But I still want tires to wear to decent.
Thanks WaHydro

Probably. if the drop is about 1.0-1.1, like with eibachs w/OEM dampers or perhaps other springs, then most likely. if under an inch, maybe.
I've got eibachs w/bilsteins. but the bilsteins are a little stiffer so the drop is only about .8 inches. my alignment guy got mine within specs and so far I've seen no abnormal wear, but as they age and settle/sag over the next few years I'll probably need a camber kit too.

This is true. You have to take that in to account when deciding what to do camber wise. I have a 1/2 Kmac in the rear, and I still have inner wear issues. My fronts aren't really a problem. Since your a quattro, you'll more than likely need adjustable control arms to get it all square. Or you can keep buying tires prematurely until you figure that you can buy adjustable control arms for the price of 2 rear tires. Something to think about. I would find some decent coilovers. Seperates in the front aren't very user friendly/adjustable.

Thanks for the info. where can you buy adjustable control arms for the rear?
I kind of want to go with springs over coil overs . Just because trying to adjust the height on all four corners seem like it would be a pain in the butt to get Wright.I do need to replace the struts at the same time .
Thanks again for all the help
