Still weird engine noise after service
well i don't have a guage to check, but the butt dyno tells me it's the same, and the dealer didn't get any engine codes.
how would i go about to check the turbo?
how would i go about to check the turbo?
If the turbowasn't getting oil, it would probably do a little more than squeak...
It's possible, but i'd expect you would most likely have symptoms like cincy mentioned, loss of boost / slower spooling / catching on fire etc.
How many miles do you have?

well i just went to check again, but it doesn't do it anymore. i dont know if i should be happy.
cincy, do you mean take off the TIP as well?
there is a ticking sound when the car's idling as well, but that's the valvetrain right?
im going Paranoid!!

It sounds like a duck call!
Hmm... this isn't a honking goose DV is it? DV is located behind the engine by the heat shield.
Josh do you ever hear this while you're driving? If so, when (letting of the gas, shifting... etc.)?

no i never heard it while driving.
why would air pass trough the DV when the engine is off tho?
the only thing i can imagine spinning for that long is the turbo...
