My window regulator pulley split in two causing the window not to work. I replaced the regulator, adjusted the window, cleaned the carbon from the inside the motor, re-greased the motor gears and reattached the motor. The problem - when I push the up switch the window goes down; when I push the down switch the window goes up about 1 inch - up again and down another inch - up again down another inch - eventually it is full down. The auto feature doesn't work in either direction. When I open the door with the window up it doesn't drop at all. I have tried the reset as I understand it and no change (run window up hold switch for several seconds and release - run window down hold switch for several seconds and release). Any ideas? Thanks.
