Swaping seats need help
I've looked high and low but i cant find any diy on swaping stock a4 seats with S4 ones. is this a hard task? i know the s4 seats bolt right onto the same track but i need to know how im going to get power to them. my current seats are not power but they are heated. the seats im getting also from a B5 s4 are both heated and power. can some one direct me on how to do the install or shoot me a link? also if there is anyone near or in toronto, ontario that can help me with the install im willing to shoot over some cash and a few beers. thanks

RE: Swaping seats need help
I did this same swap... or rather, had a guy near Milton do it for me.
The power part is easy... you just need power and ground -- no problems. The heated seats and airbags plug right in from your old plugs... so no problems there, either. The biggest problems are that you'll need to tap holes for the front seat bolts (although the carpet is already cut to accommodate, and holes are already there -- just not threaded). Also, there is a 'tower' thing under your manual seat... You'll see it when you get your stock seat out. That thing needs to be cut off, to clear the seat motor under the S4 seats.
