Default tCarbon FMIC Install complete ***Tons of Pictures*** Good info

***PICTURES OF FMIC AFTER IT GOT HERE TODAY ARE4 POSTS DOWN***

For anyone that's installed their FMIC themselves, will I need my car on a lift to do this install and will it take more than about 5 hours to do the project? I'm also installing Angel eyes and clear corners at the same time. I realize those two mods will add a little bit to the time. I am referring only to the FMIC installation though. I'm trying to figure out if this FMIC install is gonna be an "after work" job... or a "weekend" job. I've been able to do all the rest of my mods in less than 2 hours for the most part and did alot of them during/after work when not busy.

Well, last time I was changing the clear corner on my headlights. It took me two days to do that. Coz I don't ahve the damn jacks to life my car, I need to use the one side jack that is sitting inside the trunk. From what I know, the think taking off the bumper should take you the most of the labor time. If you have the right tool, you should be able to finish the FMIC in 3 hours. Good LUCK on that, I would love to see the finished picture. Beside, I just ordered my T-carbon FMIC.

A lil advise on the clear corner. Completely clean your headlight before you put it back in. Because there is a dead bug sitting inside my headlight and I figured it out after 2 days and I refused to spend the time to take it out.LOL, Well, its like a "insect display zoo" there..............

I know that you are in korea now? HOw much did you pay for your TT? I know that in asia they charge twice as much as we do here. From where I was born, the money to buy an M3 can only afford a A4(1.8T)

I bought my TT in the United States. I just recently had it shipped over here to korea. you're right though... they are very expensive over here. they charge a ridiculous tax on all luxury cars

Wow... so the FMIC came today in the mail. I took some pictures here in my living room. I guess I'll probably throw it on this weekend since it may end up taking a while. Not really sure what to expect and all. I was surprised at how friggin thick it is too. I mean... its THICK. Enjoy...

That really shouldnt take to long if thats all you have to install. A full kit (turbo to tb) usually takes 5+ hours due to triming.

my apr took me about 5 hrs just because i had no instructions and had to fab up everything myself. rather easy to do once you center it ....helpfull if you have someone to hold it up while you bolt it to the radiator support bar.and put the hoses on and all that jazz. let me know if you have questions... looks like a decent FMIC
