i've had success with the little evap one with regular plyers, the non-reusable ones on the TIP I get with wire cutters. Not so much the squeezing/cutting action... I'll grab it tight, and then twist 90°, seems to do a pretty good job of breaking it apart.

I just bought a dremel with a diamond cut-off wheel.

Done, TIP installed. I bought a dremel from home depot, and attached a diamond cut off wheel to it. cut all those clamps off pretty quick. Then I took the dremel back and got my $62 lol

You should have kept the dremel. I've found it to be one of the most valuable tools in my arsenal. In the years I've been modding my car the most important tools are....

1. Vag-com
2. Dremel
3. Adult beverages.

I could always go back and buy the one I just brought back. LOL, I could probably buy it off the clearence rack.
