Default Timing advance

So my little burp/stutter I hear at idle almost went away entirely when I installed my TIP, but it's still there. I've often heard that a little (100-200rpm)bump in the timing can get rid of this, and also give a little better throttle rsponse/performance. I have contacted a couple VAG owners in the area to see if they can help me. I've gotten a good response, and will soon be hooking it up. Any thing I should remember when doing this? Anything else I should do to the TT while I have it hooked up to VAG? Also, my plugs are gapped to stock.

its not timing, its increasing the idle rpm. You need either unisettings or lemmingwinks also to increase the idle. Its a free download and if someone has a vag they should have it also.

Awesome. Little increments untill I get desired idle. I wonder if they can add a feature like that to the liquidTT(would be cool).

because my $50 laptop only holds about a 5 minute charge, and it took me 4 and a half minutes to find the block to adjust the idle.

I really need to vag working on my netbook.

doesn't change the fact that I need to get my good laptop to run vagcom though.
