BTW, you'll also need a 19mm triple-square socket for the crankshaft

I was going to do mine tonight, but I'm beat from a busy week and next weekend my friend can help me...I'll be rocking 5 spaceheaters in my garage I want to give it a shot, and my friend has done everything to his '96 Z28, so it should be fine. I'm looking forward to my new dogbone bushings; my philosophy is if I have to do maintenance, I also install a mod

Where do you live? 5 space heaters sounds like the climate I'm in.

And you had me confused with the triple square comment.
Semantics, but this is and always will be a triple square to me, and this is a 12pt socket. Funny how the brain is wired sometimes.

my philosophy is if I have to do maintenance, I also install a mod
Well, if it broke or needs replacement, it only makes sense to put a BETTER version back in, so you don't have to worry about it failing again. This is why every bushing possible short of the subframe/chassis bushings have been upgraded to poly, and in some cases, beyond that to solid mount/heim joint. Holds your attention on the highway.

Yea, I got all worried I needed another socket/bit, and I happen to have a 19mm 12pt socket in my collection (biggest one, phew). I bought the metalnerd tranny bit, and that is definetly triple-square.

I'm in IL, and after the 6ins of snow we got tonight we are supposed to have the coldest week since 1996 My TB stuff needs to hold on for one more week (fingers crossed)

I've lived in N. IL all my life and love Chicago, but damned if I don't want only 1 month of winter. Its too bad NM/AZ only have 91oct, I'd totally move there
