I had mine done (25% grade) to my back 3 windows and it looked HOT! That was until later in the day the dotted edging on the glass made the film separate glass and it now has this light edge showing. I immediately took it back and asked the installer and he showed me his Benz C Class had the same and that it was unavoidable...

This seems odd - I've seen other cars and never noticed this effect before - am I wrong here or is this true and I just have to accept it?

 

the dotted edge on all cars will have that light edge. I had mine done last week and it was the same way. I does get better as the tint drys.

 

well not in my case its worse!
