Tints + a story! (pic)
So i just got my windows tinted friday (15% pinnacle)before leaving to head down to Santa Barbara from Santa Cruz.

On the way back up I was on 101 near King City and I see a cop driving the opposite way and then I watched him U it and start to drive towards me. I roll down my windows and wait for him to come up to me. He drives up to the side of me and just stares at me then speeds off and takes the next exit and turns around again. Phew, no fix-it ticket!
So about 10 minutes later I see a highway patrol officer trying to pull onto the highway. I drive right past him but didnt get my windows down quick enough. I watch him slowly catch up to me but he didn't go behind me so i thought i was fine (windows were down). He then stays to my rear left and uses his loud speaker "Please roll up your windows". I roll them up and he just looks at me and shakes his head and speeds off.
About 15 minutes after that, a highway patrol motorcycle cop drives past me and I see a cop behind me with his lights on (other lane though). For a second i thought i was getting pulled over but then i realized i was fine.
Anyways, it was an interesting drive back from... but i didn't get any tickets so its all good!

Dark tint gives law enforcement an excuse to look at you closer. By the way, weren't you instructed not to roll the windows down for a few days. You probably have some nice scratches.
How'd you know i have that bumper sticker!
I thought i wasnt going to be able to roll them down but the place i got them tinted at said that since there's no frame around the window I was able to roll them down.

hmmm, my windows are tinted just as dark as yours. When I drive pass a cop I don't even bother to roll my windows down. I am from S. Cali. But this story reminds me of something that happened when I first got my car.
Won't let me post story..

i think it's cus you notice it more on light colored cars. my color is dark so u the tint doesn't stand out too much i know cus my buddy has the silver with the lighter tint then mine and i just stands out more.
Im here in VA too, i feel ur pain. Its the Gustapo out there, police automatically think tint means===weve got major drugs in here, so dont look hahahah. All i wanted tint for was to not get pounded by the sun during 90 degree weather lol
