I remember when I first got my car. I tinted the windows right away (darkest tint). So one night of going out with friends and getting drunk. I got into arguement with my Fiance (she lives in Texas). So being somewhat drunk I told her I would see her in 19 hours (was going to drive crom Cali to TX). I hung up the phone and proceeded on my road trip. I was probably 200 miles or so from Los Angeles (this was around 3-4 am). The freeways were pretty wide open so I was doing about 105-110 mph on the freeway. I come up on this cop and thought, " hey he's a cop not highway patrol, he can't pull me over on the freeway." So I maintained my speed, well the cop chases up to me (no lights on). Follows me for about 2 miles or so. I just ignored him n kept going. After awhile he just zoomed pass me and kept going.

The reason I believe now on why he didn't pull me over was cause.

A) New car no license plates. He couldn't call it in to find out who the car belonged to.
B) Windows tinted dark and he couldn't see inside the car. He never turned on his spotlight.
C) It was early morning and no one was on the freeway other than me n him. No city lights around.
D) Factoring all of the above in. I think he was concerned that I might be some crazed fool or a felon. And didn't want to deal with it at that hour.

I know I got lucky. I won't do that again.

Looks good. I had 5% tint all around on my last car and never had any problems here in Florida.... until I decided to put 20% on the entire front windshield. Unfortunately, I was pulled over and had to take it off the same day I had it put on lol.

 

I have 10% all around......and my g/f got pulled over in front of me In MY truck that has 20% lol....I think they look for hondas and caprices with 24" rims painted florescent orange and dark tint more than an audi TT so ive been safe so far

That ight have done it .... lol !!! I try to keep cool witht he pigs until they let me off, but if they dont the I let them know whats on my mind ..... ha ha ha
