Tires
Looking for advice on all season tires. I drive the TT year 'round (Iowa), at least until the snow is only a couple of inches. Really want as much performace as possible but have to compromise a bit. Presently running Kumho's and they seeem to wear pretty fast, but they also track the least imperfection in the road and get squirrley on snow
I will tell you that I ran the General UHP on my MX6 LS and they were great. No too pricey and wore well. They have great grip even in snow for a performance tire. Of course that car was just FWD. With AWD they would be outstanding. In the dry they were really quiet and stuck like glue. The are very reasonable versus the High Dollar Michelins and so forth and do almost as good in test rated in the top 5. Tire Rack has great information and there prices are really good. TireEasy.com, Online Tires are others that are cheap to by from. Usually I find you in essence by 3 for the price of 4 at retail outlets.
I bought my car with new Fierce Tires that are made by Goodyear I found out. They stick well but suck in the noise department and they are new. I hope they don't get worse as most do.
