Default Track Days for Father's Day weekend

This is a week late but I finally have a chance to type something out. Last weekend my dad flew in from California and we spent Father's Day weekend at Pueblo Motor Speedway in Pueblo Colorado flogging my TT around. We had a blast! Friday was an open track day that was put on by a local VW/Audi group. Then Saturday and Sunday were instructional courses sponsored by the local BMW club. I've attached a picture of me and an instructor on Saturday going into turn 5 (an uphill right). Some of my friends asked going into the weekend what I would do if my dad crashed my car. I replied that regardless of what happened to the car, years down the road when my dad was no longer around, it would all be worth it. These cars can be replaced, the memories can't be.

This was his first track event (my second) but I think he's hooked. I have a business trip next month to California and he is already talking about me spending some extra days out there so that we can take his car (2006 Corvette) to Buttonwillow Raceway Park. How can I say no to that

As for the competition at Pueblo, the TT spanked a Celica, several mini coopers, a mustang, a WRX, and some older 3-series Bimmers. What we could not beat were M3's and a 500 hp M5. While there were several Audis including a few RS4's, mine was the only TT. The RS4's were in a faster group BTW.
