Smile tranny fluid

I just drained out my tranny oil and was wondering how much oil it would take to fill back up. Also what is the best tranny oil to use? 75w 90?

I did mine and replaced the fluid with Redline MT-90. It will take about 3-3.5 qts. McPaudiTT has a good write-up on his Fotki page that I used as a guide.

Redline MT-90 is what I used as well. Fill it up until it starts leaking out.

if your doing the tranny, might as well do the rear diff too. Redline MT90 is good for the tranny, but use the straight labeled '75W90' for the diff.
