Default TT 3.2l transmission

Hello, I am looking to purchase a TT and I really want the v6 3.2l one but im really into manuels and I know that in the u.s. they only come in the DSG automatics. I am not to familiar with the DSG but what are the ups and downs of them. Also is it possible to transfer a 6 speed manuel into it from the 1.8t or an s4 transmission? Any thoughts a welcome

Trust me after you have driven the DSG i see no reason to put a standard manual in

Maybe it could be done, but only with a VW one from the R32

As for up and downs they are lightning fast

No really they are pretty solid from what ive seen so far

The only thing i dont like about them is how they take off from a standstill. There seems to be some delay. Especially at lower throttle inputs. Other than that the dsg is nothing but fun.

Thanks for your time, I really didn't know much about them and I was also wondering if they are like a quicker response than a tipronic?

Yes there is a delay at standstill because this, in all reality is a manualy trans with an auto clutch so it has to engage it just like a manual

And for the other post is it faster than a tip
Well its just as fast as the Ferrari F1 trans

This is because it preselects the next gear

IF you want a stick, get a 225, its turboed, and its a real sports car motor... the v6's are kinda sluggish and the mods for the v6 are gonna be twice and expensive and half as effective.... the v6 just hit the market.... new product, new mods, i dont like it. the after market for the 1.8 turbo-ko4 is massive, and you can make way more power for alot less... and you get a real 6 speed... with a watery audi clutch i love my 225, and i would recommend it to anyone.
