Default TT Door Trim Bubbling Issue...

When I was shopping TT's afew months ago, I noticed a lot of them had an issue with the trim on the door bubbling along the window edge (see sample picture I found online). Long story short, I eventually chose a TT that had a very minor "bubbling" issue. Now that the weather is warming up, I'm thinking about fixing this little issue. Has anyone had any success with fixing this? I was thinking I could just peel the lining away, put down some adhesive, and pull the lining back. I don't want to touch it until I get feedback from someone who has successfully tackled this little annoying issue.

There is NO WAY that nobody knows what I'm talking about!

Nope... not a clue.

Sorry... maybe it's a local thing? Are you near a coast, or high humidity area?

Also, Is this on the interior door panel, or exterior?

Some pics of the bubbles themselves would help... I'm not sure what you're talking about, I just know I don't have any problems where the arrows are pointing.

I have it, but haven't fixed it yet. I am going to pull off the door panel, and use some epoxy to reattach the material. I want to fix it before it gets bad enough to possibly catch while rolling the window up.

I will take some pics and put them up tomorrow. I live in the midwest, so I'm not sure about the whole geographic argument. The bubbling occurs on the inside of the door near the part where the panel wraps into the window jam. It's really weird, and I'm astonished that I didn't get large response to what I assume was a common problem.

Yeah on my driver's door there is a small piece that is coming loose.
It's closest to the window, but honestly it doesn't really bother me too much since it's barely noticeable.

Just one of the reasons I'm on this forum. I've got it bad. Just bought the car yesterday. I'm going to remove the door panel, clean it up and epoxy it down. Probably using some painters tape to hold it in place to dry. I'll take pics and let you know if I succeed.....most likely I'll be doing it again.

Thanks for the help, I've removed the panels before to replace a window motor, I was just interested in seeing if the trim on the panel would "peel" up if i tried to pull it back (as opposed to tearing)... let me know how it goes derrat...
