Both my TT and S4 are garage queens. I drive them on the weekends. When I do drive them I run them strong, but the rest of the week they stay covered in a temp controlled garage.

Just about every car out there has the potentioal of becoming a "collectable". It simply means someone wants it... There's a market for just about any old car and they always sell for more than their origional market value.
Hell, Chevy Novas were as common in their time as Honda Civics, but time and consumer forgiveness made them popular again. I think the ugliest car in the whole world is the Chevy ElComino, but for some reason people rostore them up here and they sell for $15k and up... If some ol' fart wants to feel like a kid again he automatically picks up one of his first covited rides. I just hope there's enough ol' farts that wanna drive our TT's...

I agree.

Heres the real question. - When your an old fart are you going to still want to sell your baby that you've had for all these years? (Mind you this means you actully keep it)

I know if I have a car that long, I'm not selling it for anything. - My E30 isn't for sale. Period. - Unless someone is willing to throw up 30k its not leaving my garage, and the only reason I would sell it for that is because I could buy another one and restore it top to bottom. - Again it aint gonna happen.....

Notice...everyone has their price. The only question is, what's the car worth to you? I'de off-load mine now for $20k and pick up another Porsche...but that's just me.
