Default TT Purchase Advice Needed

I am interested in purchasing a 2001 or 2002 TT Quattro. I have tried both the 180HP and 225HP versions and there is clearly no comparison, as the 225 is better to drive. I have however, found a good deal on a 180 Quattro and my question is, will chipping this car bring performance as satisfying as the 225, or will all the associated additions such a cold air induction, exhaust, etc. be necessary to achieve the power I want- in which case would I be better off waiting to find a deal on a 225?

Thanks for your help,

$500 to chip it, and that will bring you to ~210, and theres always little things here and there you could do for a couple extra horses. Fun mods, not pull your hair out because you can't figure out where the part attaches kinda mods. Check out www.modshack.info

dont settle for less than you want... seriously just hold out for the good deal on the car you want.. it will be worth it in the end, then you can mod the car with 225
