Default TT roadster convertible roof problem

Hi guys, I have a problem when i try to open the top in my TT roster, what happens is when I turn the latch lock and press the key the roof is not opening and I have to do it manually. The switch is working because when I press the open side there is a little light turns in my dash so I know the switch is ok and also in order to close the top i can use the switch to close it normally and it works. Does anyone has any idea what is wrong with my car?

Default Fix for roof sensor problem

I have this issue as well.
There is a good discussion in another thread on this forum here, with a solution. The link is posted below.

I've attached a picture because it took me a long time to decipher where this switch is. The silver tab becomes bent slightly and a small bend will fix the problem.
