Turbo Noise

Turbo Noise
When my turbo is spooling, It sounds like it's crying, begging me to stop beating it. It sounds like a fluddering whistle... I have no engine cover, and everything under the hood is stock.
I have always had this, so not sure if it's normal or not. But it's kinda loud, and I can't image my same car with no miles on it would sound like it. I have 60K miles BTW
TIA

I think it's a leak... Every now and then I'll get a loss of power. I'll get a pic of the engine bay tomorrow. Where should I go to check if theres a leak? Anyone know a good place in Long Island, NY?
Thanks

If you have a boosts gauge and you can see that you're not boosting right than you prob have a leak. I'd try going through your engine bay and check all the connections. Maybe try cleaning the throttle body and cleaning it. or you can do the compression test if you have a place to go.

buy/build a boost tester. can be as simple as a PVC fitting with a tire valve stem stuck in the end, or like I did, use a quick disconnect air fitting attached to a 20 turn regulator and a pressure gauge.
look at the pressure tester on modshack.info for ideas
