Default turbo noise

..when i start hitting the gas in my car i can hear the turbos spool nicely . i have the s-flo intake but at the same time it sounds like a police siren coming with he nice turbo sounds.. when when i let off the gas ti winds down just like a police siren, its an 00 2.7t 6spd with 94 k on it.. is this a sign of turbo failure?

Abnormally shrill or loud spooling is definitely an indication of failure... usually sounds more like a dental drill than anything else

try and post an audio clip, but from your description it sounds like a failing turbo

Depends on the reputation of the place you bought it at, I suppose. Check your paperwork to see if there are any exceptions or specific conditions that need to be met in order for repairs to be covered under warranty. Seems to me that if you only bought it three weeks ago and the turbo is failing, it's definitely their problem.

Totally agree with the statement above. Also, call the dealer in which you bought the car make them aware that the car is malfunctioning and you will be forced to take it to the Audi dealership closest to you to have them professionally diagnosis the problem.

Stress the fact that there is something clearly and apparently wrong with the operation of the vehicle. This is to ensure that you have informed the party that you may have to take action against them. They now have the knowledge to make a decision whether to help rectify the problem for you or ignore it. If they chose to ignore the problem you may be well protected under certain statuary provisions. According, your state has such provisions enacted.

Good Luck E

P.S. Remember to keep calm during contact with them. You want to stay in their good graces.
