I will give it a try, I saw on another site that you have to take the radio out and then take out the hazard switch/relay so I guess I have to go and buy the tool to remove the radio and see how much the part will cost. One guy paid a $100 bucks to have the dealer do it. Way too much, Ill do it myself. Might see if autozone or somebody has the tool I can use as I heard the tool can cost about $30.

Yes you will have to remove the radio

And there is a cover that you have to pull down directley above the radio

Then push out the switch from the back towards yourself

You can make radio removing tools, either from a old hacksaw blade, or I've seen it done with the metal strips out of a hanging file folder.

My turn signals both just stopped working altogether, but prior to there failure they acted the way you describe yours acted. Did you ever get this problem sorted out? Was it the hazard switch? How much did it cost to fix or did you do it yourself?

Thanks!

any way to order this switch online? our A4's turn signals are stagnant since today. Managed to tinker it by changing the fuses but
now also that option does not give the required result.

assume this would be the right one? Sorry for asking, but I am more careful with my wife's A4 than my own old Benz....

Probably so, it cost me about $80 for the part and some more for the install.
