Quality looks great, but is it really that much of an upgrade? How come you don't want to go FMIC?

I agree the quality does look good but I think I would just go for a larger FMIC instead of replacing the SM's. Plus a front mount just looks cool! Here's a pic of mine from a while back before I installed the caracter grill.

Just wondering if anyone has any before/after dyno results for any of these intercoolers.

I am about to upgrade my tt's intercoolers as this is the last bolt on step to take. Also if i could i would like to keep the stock apperence.

In the past i have had bad experiances with front mount kits not fitting or not being a complete kit what would you recommend for a diy guy.

By the way i saw tyrols intercooler at waterfest and these things are top notch am really temped to wait for there release

You wont see a real gain on a dyno, its the loss of power they prevent. Front mounts fit really well on our cars (see below) w/o any cutting. There will be a pipe set out shortly from a place i know....

Its ment for you to get a core for your needs/budget, not on off the shelf one sizes fits some kit. Looking at $300-500 for a good-great setup vs $1k+ for an ok kit.

All the end user will need is to get the correct couplers for the core they choose, simple concept to fit the needs for a wider range of people from stock to 500+whp
