Default under engine cover question

In my incident last week where I hit a chunk of ice and cracked my bumper, it also cracked off part of the front corner of the pastic under engine cover.

Just wondering if you guys recommend replacing that with another oem plastic piece or is it really that neccessary? I would prefer to just leave it (cheapest option) but could also get a new plastic one, or get a panzer plate. What do you guys think?

Most of us no longer have one. You can run w/o it, but if yours stays on as is, i would just leave it. You really cant buy one anywhere new but the panzer plate if you want to replace it.
