Default '04 A4 3.0 engine cover question.

Can someone tell me if the '04 3.0 came with this part? It's the engine cover section circled in the picture, I bought one used that was on an '02, but I can't find the where it should fasten in the engine compartment.

On my 02 A4, the cover attaches in three places. First, there is a hole on the firewall side of the cover (with grommet/bushing) and you slide the cover onto a small stud sticking out of the firewall. The other two attachment points are metallic clips. The male ends of the clips are on the cover and they mate up with female ends on the air intake piece that it abuts. So, you slide the cover onto the stud on the firewall then press down on the cover near the air intake piece to snap the clips into place.

My intake tube doesn't have the female ends, but the cover has the two metal clips. Could you possibly shoot a picture of the intake duct where the cover attaches, with the cover removed, please?
