Default Update on old accident

This is great. You guys probably remember my accident a few months back, some guy in an SUV hit me while I was stopped at a light. Their insurance denied my claim because he lied about what happened. I served him with a summons for small claims court for my damages. Now the insurance company calls me back and says they are willing to make a deal. 50% of their $650 estimate. I laughed at them. I have 2 different estimates both for over $1000.
I'm gonna settle for 1/4 of that because they are running scared?
It's hilarious becaus they tried to totally give me the bone, wouldn't even offer a percentage, just zero, sorry nothing we can do about it.

Looks like they know they are gonna be hurting on this one.

Rear fenders ar a pain to replace, so its gonna cost a good amount. Best of luck in court if you end up going

Those quotes are including an hour of labor to remove and reinstall the taillight, and they are from top end body repair places that I knew would be expensive. I'm not paying for it, aand if someone else is, they are going to do it right. Those are for respraying the whole quarter, and blending at the door. You could easily get away with just pulling the dent, or spraying a small area and trying to blend. Supposedly black is a bitch to blend though, and I told them to do what they need to to have my car like new because that is what it was before the c*ckbag hit me

If you pull it, you would have a **** load of filler in there and i know i wouldnt want that. But a Hour and a half to pull tail lights and its a top end bodyshop? I hope that is just a rasied estamate for insurance.

Not a raised estimate, but a leave no stone unturned estimate. And just 1 hour, not 1.5 lol.

Thanks for the good luck thing. Ihope I don'tneed it.

the hr estimate for pulling the taillights probably comes from some universal guide with labor times.. thats why the dealer will charge an hr to replace a coilpack even though the tech can do it in 15-20mins.
