Recently bought a 2001 TT 225. Was thinking of a ECU flash, exhaust w/ down pipe & intake upgrades. Any advise, experience, or suggestions on what I might look at. I want a daily driver with good power through the whole power range. Also I hear both sides of the intercooler upgrade, some say it's worth it others say not a big deal.
In California as well so have to think about CARB.

I think meeting CARB requirements with any upgrade would be first priority. I imagine they have emission inspections, and failing would prevent you from renewing license plates?
