vanity twin exhaust tip for fwd 1.8t
I've got a sweet 2004 1.8t FWD w/ APR chip etc.There's no way to fit twin exhaust...bummer. I'm maybe
going to upgrade to a single Jetex but would like to
trick the rear exterior valance with a quattro twin look.
Does anyone know of a vanity exhaust tip kit to at least get the look. It's a last resort and for cosmetics only....I can get
a valance with twin ports...need the tip kit..help!
hmm. for starters the dual exhaust look comes on the 225hp and you have the 180 (like me) with a single tip, quattro and fwd have nothing to do with it... however, im confused as the what you mean "there is no way to fit twin exhaust" Maybe you want to run an entire other set of pipes? who knows... however, you can get an exhaust with larger pipes (since you have a 180 if you want a downpipe youll probably have to go custom because so far i have yet to find any already made)
Im not exactly sure what the stock pipe diameter is, i think 2.25? or 2?
As for the rear valence... www.thettshop.com or www.ttstuff.com (closed for a month if you read another post) or justlook around such as online forums or go to a dealer...
try to clarify though what you mean by "there is no way to fit twin exhaust"

[&o]TTkid..Check out diehlryan's post..."there is no easy way for the 180FWD to have a dual exhaust. The rear is different because of no haldex there is a larger spare tire wheel well. It limits the options."
I have to go one farther...after much crawling around down under, there is absolutely NO WAY.
You would have to cut thru the spare tire well and I would not want anyone that I care for riding inside
with an exhaust pipe!....thanks anyway....

Audi actually made a "vanity" tip for those who wanted a dual look.

Kind of silly if you ask me, but if that's what you're looking for, there it is. I believe Milltek makes an actual exhaust for the 180FWD though with dual tips...
