Default Velocity Tuner

Has anyone ever purchased/used one of these? Do they really get the "better fuel mileage" and "increased horse power" or is this just another web-scam?

Ive never purchased one of these because of the fact that I own a turbo charged car.

This is how it works:

Air gets sucked into the motor through the throttle body and is passed through that thingamajig and is spun into a turbine effect causing air to become more condensed this increases horsepower and fuel economy since the air is now more efficiently being thrown into the combustion chamber.

This is also why cars, trucks, etc. gain more horsepower during the winter than in the summer. Air is far more condensed and colder

also air pressure affects results

For turbo charged cars this is very unnesessary because the air is already spun in and out of the engine

as i see it, thats restriction, causing turbulant air, which means you won't move as much of it, which means you won't get as much power.

I always just considered those as 'snake oil' and nothing more. I agree 100% with acTTung that they look like they would hinder air flow more than aid it

theoreticly, they should not. practically they do. but there is another company called turbolator or turbunator, it a bit diferent desine, less restriction more efficient. I believe Strauss Auto Parts sells them. its does not work as great on turbo cars. but suppose to increase eficiency before turbo.

In my opinion they are usless. you can try it, and say your opinion.
