eh, who cares if a couple of those hondas are quick.
in the end, they are still plastic and tinfoil sh*tboxes that were built for economy and nothing else.
in 10 years see how many TTs are still on the road-vs-a bunch of rusted out hondas that are literally falling apart at the seams.
i could care less if a car like that is slightly faster than mine- i ride in a stylish, well-built, beautiful piece of automotive art 100% of the time.
and they ride in a crapmobile 100% of the time.
just MHO.
Tell me what you really think.... I dont like honda's because they are a dime a dozen, you seem to think that they are worse than Korean cars. But the sad thing is that they are well made (far better than most vw/audi's) and usually last much longer. I have a friend that has a 2000 civic with 205k miles on it and it still runs great. Stock motor, tranny, everything. Ill be happy if my motor makes it to that many miles with my rebuild going on at 105k miles

funny.

i bet if our TT's had a honda emblem instead of the rings and civic instead of the TT, you all wouldn't drive it.

Like i said before, im not a dime a dozen kind of guy, so no. I like 2nd gen eclipses but im not running out and getting on the DSM train. 240's are still very rare around here so i would be all over a sr20 or rb25det or better yet rb26dett swap

The most common cars here are Civic, Teg's, Cavaliers/cobolts, and Neons (both reg and srt-4)

Is this thread for real?! We have a ton of Audi haters in the Audi forum. lol
I personally own an 01 TT, 06 Jetta 2.5, and an 07 Civic si.
I have got to admit, Hondas are really nice cars when they're stock. (some anyhow)
My wife (soon to be ex-wife) drives the civic si. If I were to drive a honda myself, I would prefer a 2 door Accord. Just a little more luxury. The civic si is pretty nice i have to admit... but civics just arent my taste. I like the 01' Accord. coupe

thats the point im trynna get across.

ignorant bitches diss hondas on how they're tin cans and what p.o.s. cars they are. in reality, the majority of them are not and in fact well built.

but the fact they're highly riced out and how ubiquitous they are is prolly the only reason why they should be pissed on.

either way, i'd take the 4 rings over the H anyday.

nah i don't really think they are POS's, i was exaggerating a bit there with my evil words... =)

actually the only non-euro car i ever owned was a 91 subaru legacy back in the day that had over 200k on it- i gave it to my ex and she ran it up past 300k.
it was 4wd and ran forever! so i know some asian cars are decent, and i can respect them in general- but just because it ran great doesn't mean that i ever thought it was cool or very stylish or built well.

i guess my point in general is that you will never have friends or strangers come up to you and say to you "oh my god that is an AWESOME honda! i can't believe you have one of those!". im sure most of you hear that in your audi on the daily.

Nope... I've never raced the Civic and the Audi Side by side. They've never been in the same country together. Well, There have... but not while I owned them both. I bought the Civic after I already shipped the Audi over here to Korea. the Civic is in TX.
