Vibration issue (help?)
I recently purchased a used Audi TT 225 (2003 model) and everything works great except for one problem: at speeds above around 50 MPH I get a severe vibration when turning left most of the time, however, sometimes i DON't get it. I have had Audi do a 4 wheel alignment and everything looks fine. I have all new tires (Yokohama AVS100) and everything has been balanced and it STILL does it. Audi looked at it and says they don't see any issues. Could this be a CV joint? The car is still under factory warranty but I can't get them to fix what they can't find.
Any ideas?

check the wheel barrings, fender rub, plasic panels and screws, brake lines maybe, could be anything loose, doesn't seem serious but you never know

i had the same problem... turned out it was the bearings and a slightly bent wheel (it wasnt noticable at first glance, but once it was pointed out, wow night and day)
ps i avoid pot holes like the plague now
I have a bent rim too.
avoid potholes, and never more than 15mph over train tracks.
How bad is the vibration when you turn? Usually a wheel bearing is more of a grinding feeling, but you generally feel when when the wheel is turned. (in my A4, straight road, or right turns were quiet, but left turns felt similar to the first few feet of driving after your rotors were soaked/rusted by rain for a couple days)
