I think your talking about the PCV valve, thats no catch can.

It's actually the Pressure Regulating Valve for the Crankcase Breather, which I guess you could say operates as a PCV valve. However, it does catch some oil.

unfortunatly 9 times out of 10 it fails to keep the oil out of the intake, thus the need for a catch can
