AF guy,I'm gonna give it to you straight. I think your only problem is that you want it too much. If your car is about "gotta get a woman,your signature here is about "gotta get a woman," your questions are about how to get a woman - that means your entire VIBE is constantly giving off "I GOTTA GET A WOMAN AND I DON'T CARE WHO YOU ARE!!!!"

Man, that is a serious turnoff. Girls don't do desperate - unless they are desperate too. And you don't want that.

So in addition to the kid's excellent advice, I would say really focus on other things in your life that matter to you - hobbies, work, family. Go to the park with a nephew to fly kites, not to find a girl. Volunteer at a shelter to help poor people, not to find a girl. Live to LIVE, not to find a girl. I guarantee you if you do this, the girl - the RIGHT girl - will find you.

I apologize in advance but I would NEVER (unless I was 17also)take the advice of a 17yr old on finding girls and love.

The difference between highschool and college and after school is extremely different. You really cant compare one time to another.

Also you shouldn't take anyones advice on finding girls because thats what works for them and not neccessarily work for you. One guy could walk up to a girl, call her a hoe, and take her home. Another guy could walk up to the same girl, call her a hoe, and get SMACKED right in the face.

But dont listen to me.. I've been with the same girl for 5yrs now (met in college) and recently married. I surely dont know what I'm talking about anymore its been so long. Except I dont have a problem getting the attention of girls when I'm out with friends. It could be the wedding ring though. That might actually be the key - get a fake wedding ring and wear it. Girls always want what they cant have.

 

There are a lot of chronologically mature men who just DON'T get it - right? So there can be some young guys who really do.

My husband was 21 when we met (I am much older) and he wowed me with his ability to not just do the romance thing well, but really have the staying power emotionally. It can be done.

 

21 and 17 are very different. 4 yrs difference is nearly a quarter of the life of a 17yr old.

 

It starts with you man. If your car is going to get you a girl, then you better be prepared to sit around in it alot. Likewise, a girl who likes you because of your car? C'mon. Even if a girl asks you what kind of car you have[:'(]. But, it all depends on what you are seeking. If it's a hook up, then the car is probably insignificant. If it's a relationship then it should be.
Boil it down to the simple. Be friendly, look for oportunities to help a woman, offer your chair, open the door, carry her bags, compliment her clothes in a respectful way or her fragrence (if done tactfully). Do not talk about yourself unless asked. Shut up and listen. Women smell desperation like you smell french fries. I do not know what your fashion is (or care ) but consider your wardrobe and your target audience. Dress your age. Don't be a poser. Go to the web to find the places people are talking about that are in your city as good places to meet people. Use common sense. While I like TT's overall ballsiness and some early age wisom....forget the cheesey lines, even if done in jest.
