You WILL need something to undo the plugs. It should be a 14 mm Allen Wrench (that is for my 2001, I hear later years may use different bits), that no one has [edit: I have found a set of 14/17/19 mm wrenches at AutoZone]. In it's place, I used a 3/8" bolt and two nuts. The head of the bolt is 1/2", or 12.7 mm, which is undersized for the 14 mm socket, but it worked...
you'll just need a grease gun to push the oil into the fill hole. and the tools listed above. its very easy process. takes 3 qts redline mt-90 i'll post a link to a very good write-up Mcphill(should be on Mr.Schwings foki page listed as a friend)
Buy a 3/8" coupler nut at the hardware store for $1.50 and file it down a tad so it fits the hex properly. Then you use a 9/16" or 14mm socket on the other end. Fill it till it runs out; you can buy a pump at the auto parts store for about $4 that screws into the 1 qt. bottles of synthetic 75-90 (I used Mobil 1).
Consider doing the rear diff as well; a 1/2" coupler nut fits it, plus a little filing as well. 4 qts. will take care of both trans and rear diff.
