If this isn't too important, I might use the navpod from the MR2 spyder here for a TV screen.

 

there are different things to take care

1) they are used as defrosters.... but just in the last 1/3 of the part.

under left cover you will find BOSE Center speaker, if you got bose system
under right cover you will find gps-mouse if your tt got GPS

 

Get the A8 pop-up nav mec. Have it come up just infront of the vents

No I dont have GPS, but how did a GPS screen fit in the audi tt? Any pictures?

 

So this is a mod someone has done before? Do you have any pictures handy?

 

There is no dedicated screen, It just pops up on the Center Display (Between the gauges).

 

GPS on TT is in the gauge cluster. Where it say's what radio station u have. Cd tracks. Or the newer ones its by where it says park reverse... No maps.

But that A8 mec I though about just using the motor and just put my own monitor in. (Alpine/eclipse). Don't know how well it would work

 

i know those covers very vell at the moment, because i'm starting to sell those gauge pods for this place soon:
