So now that I finally figured out what MBC stands for (Manual boost controller)... why do I need one???? Everyone on this forum raves about how you should have one. I'm not chipped nor will I ever be. So do I still need a MBC?? Pros and cons of different ones? Price? Ease of installation? And do Audi TT's have an A-pillar for these gauges b/c I see a lot of you guys have them in random places and I would rather have it out of my way.

well i dont use MBC, i say go EBC. but i used a modshack mbc before, had no problems with it. was nice to set boost onset and max boost via that mbc, but i just love the EBCs so much more

1 bar is metric for one atmosphere which is 14.5 or 14.7 pending who/what your talking about.

if you want a mbc its to turn the boostup to about 20psi to gain hp id reccomend an aftermarket air filter and dv...use the diodemod in cicnys sig if you need a diode paypal me cash for a stamp and ill sed ya 3 or for free

 

well if I see you for the car cruise in 1 month you could bring the diodes then!! Plus i don't know how to sodder well enough to be screwing with my car...I plan on getting aftermarket intake and DV this early summer anyways.
