ive got a 2000 model 225 tt, which ive only had for about 3 weeks and although it seems quick, the turbo doesnt seem to put you back in your seat.
i fitted a 57i k & n filer and it was quicker but when changing gear i had a loud sssssshhhhhhh noise. does this mean my dump valve is broken??????? if so whats the best one to buy and fit??

 

a forge dv would be a good one.
When you add a filter and remove the factory air box you will get a lot more noise. Between shifts and when the turbo is winding up. It is normal.

 

Its working fine, that is normal. Change it when it leaks boost and/or honks
