I have been hearing that a BOV isn't the right mod to use on my audi. So i looked through and found out Forge Dv's work very well. So i bought the forge DV. Was it a right choice or should i of went with a BOV?

 

DV ONLY ! You can't run a BOV on our cars.. good choice !

 

I you have the stock turbo.....the Dv is just dandy. If you eventually upgrade to a bigger turbo then a combo dv/bov would do the trick. The dv helps with the turbo spooling down between shifts.

The funny thing is I've only had a turbo car since March.......

 

phew thank goodness lol yea i got stock turbo on it now. Is there any sound out of thr DV or no?

 

What it does is it routes the pressure from the outlet side of the turbo back to the inlet side (recirculates it) Technically nothing vents to atmospere but you do hear a whistling sound. Not like a bov where you actually hear the boost discharging.

 

aaaaaa ok thanks a lot for clearing that up. My friend has a WRX and has a BOV on it and its loud as **** and sounds horrible. If theres a little sound to it thats cool. I will just put a nice exhaust to compensate from the no BOV

 

To tell you the truth....I love that bov sound and cant wait for my turbo upgrade so I can add a DV/BOV combo !!! Lets ***** know that the car doesn't joke around

 

have you installed the DV, because with the Forge you will get a little louder sound that is similar to your buddies WRX, but not as bad and not the same thing as previously stated. The sounds are the same, but most people love the sound.. i do !
