Hey there BigWilleh,
Which Forge DV did you get? I used to use the 007p and it is a Great DV.
I recently switched to the Forge Splitter Valve which is still a DV but it does vent about 10% to athmosphere which gives you a nice shss sound and it is also fully adjustable without taking it apart everytime. So far I like the Splitter the BEST of all the other DV's I tried and I tried several.
If you want a little bit of sound/noise you should get an aftermarket intake to let your car breathe a little better. I have a BPi Flowstack along with an AEM dryflow filter and it works really well with the TT. Here are the links to those two items: http://www.bpinitiatives.com/stacks.php
you will need the 3inch to 3inch flow stack.

It's an excellent set up and less expensive than some of the custom intakes sold. You will get a lot more sound from your intake and you will also be able to hear the DV a lot more.
What are your current mods? One of the first mods you should get is a REVO tune or APR chip. That will transform your car into a totally different animal and your driving experience even more enjoyable. However, be careful since police are prone to pull you over a lot more because you can't get rid of that big smile on your face

Is this setup the same for 180 / 225? Is it recommended to run some sort of heatshield? And by any chance do you have any pics of the setup? Thanks man!

the only difference between 180 and 225 will be you will need a 2.75-3" reducer coupler for the 180. A heat sheild isnt needed, but wont hurt if you really want to make one

I went to the dollar store and bough a 3 pack of different sized kitchen drain filters.
Smallest one fit perfectly.
Not the best pics but...

TECHNICALLY, i forced my trust intake (2.75" inlet) onto the 3" MAF of myzx's 225TT and works like a charm =)
