Default what's involved in changing out the driver / pass xenon lamps?

do i seriously need to pull the front bumper cover and headlight housing off?

i did a search, and didn't pull up much, so im hoping its easier than someone led me to believe.

No need to remove the cover. Just pop the big cover off the backside of the housing and the bulb is accessible from there.

thanks!

i changed out my pass light (which was out) i noticed its kinda making some strange clicking noise, but is working (was making the noise prior to being replaced).

i noticed that my drivers light is aimed sorta towards the passenger side. and it didnt seem like that prior to the pass headlight going out. do these re-aim on their own? how do i reset em?

There is a VAG-COM procedure for aiming the HID's... Ross-Tech Link it uses a combination of the manual adjusting screws and the VAG-COM interface.
