For ground, I tied into the yellow painted bolt head in the fuse panel. For hot, I used a tap-a-fuse to the stereo fuse(its basically just a splitter that goes in where the normal fuse was, and gives you two fuse slots, one for the new device, in this case your ague, and the original, in this case, the stereo fuse, which is switched on with ignition). There are many other ways to do it though, this link kmight be helpful, also i think there are instructions linked through the FAQ. http://public.fotki.com/BlueTTop/mod...e_boost_gauge/
ground is any brown wire (think they all collect at the yellow painted thing random used). As for power, doesn't hurt to pick up a cheap multi-meter. You'll either have constant power, or switched power, and its nice to be able to know before you wire something up that you're using the right one.
+1 on the ground, tapping into any brown wire will do it as far as I know. The hub where they all connect under the dash is where some people tie in (yellow hex looking nut with about 4 brown wires coming to it), but I couldnt get the stupid painted yellow nut off, and ground is ground. I guess if you want dimmer or constant is another consideration as well...
all the more reason to have a multimeter.
That brown nut is locktite'd in pretty serious. I got mine loose, but you run a pretty good risk of breaking the plastic bracket that holds it. I held the bracket in place with vicegrips to do it.
