I wonder what a 225 would feel like, however mine is oddly fast.

Alex's car is also quite fast...i was with him when we beat ...I believe it was a Evo... is that right alex?

well since i drove the 180 model and my 225 i thought my 225 was a hell of a lot faster. the turbo on the 180 is smaller hence it spools up faster so you get that turbo lunge sooner but if you would let the 225 rev to 4500 to 5500 you'll see the huge difference between the two

the 180 runs a 0-60 inlike 7.1 7.2 the 225 is 5.9 6.0

Just for information, My car has 152,000 has exhaust , modified air box, S-afc custom Dyno tuned. I make 207 hp and 230 torque to the rear wheels.
yea, he must have the 180, b/c the 225 would completely and utterly rape you... especially with a chip

Can someone help me with mods and understanding them?

People are talking about all these mods that are over my head...but yet I want them! ..hehe

The faster/better my car accelerates ..the better.

Please help me explain the mods you guys are talking about..and the kinds of gains your seeing.

I have a APR chip, and Borla exhaust system... I think im at 230 ..(previous owner quoted)

Now... what would a intake do? ...what would a cold air intake do better than a normal intake?

what do all of these other mods do? (obviously more power) ..but how much?

Before you buy mods, understand them! And, understand and learn your car in the most stock form you can (in this case, chipped and exhaust). Get used to its characteristics, fix anything that's wrong, do all maintenance that needs doing, etc.

There's a lot to be said for fully appreciating your car before you mod it...

That being said, all those other mods will change the sound, performance and driving characteristics into a different car. You'll feel it and hear it, and they won't harm the car (that's up to the driver).
